Service Alberta is aware that some businesses in the construction sector have been struggling because of untimely payments on projects. Businesses in the construction industry are voicing growing concerns about late payments on issued invoices for work on construction projects. Service Alberta is committed to taking action to address the problem of delayed payment and is engaging industry stakeholders through in-person sessions and online surveys to better understand the scope of problems and seek input for potential solutions.
Formal stakeholder consultations will start in January. In addition to an online survey, the following stakeholder consultation meetings have been scheduled:

The IDA has been invited to participate an in-person session, as well as respond to the online survey. We are seeking a volunteer RID to represent us in the in-person session. Please email your interest in representing the IDA to Kerri Peyton, IDA President, and indicate which session you wish to attend. Spaces will be limited in each and so a session confirmation from will be forwarded to you in advance.
Please see the Stakeholder Information Package for your review as you prepare for the in-person sessions or for responding to the online survey. You are also welcome to email any written submissions or reports.

Unless otherwise specified, event registration refunds are subject to a 25% administrative fee. Each event will have a date beyond which refunds will not be honoured. There are no refunds on application or membership fees.

This securely stored payment profile will be used, when authorized, for automated recurring payments and will allow for easier and faster checkouts. No credit card information is stored within Member365 and all payment data is accessed by way of a secure API. Under no circumstances do we share credit card or personal details.
Who can access the IDA Member Portal member portal?
Please note that the IDA Member Portal member portal is to be used by members of IDA Member Portal only. Certain workspaces within the member portal will be tailored for and restricted to certain membership types; access to these areas will be determined and approved by IDA Member Portal staff. The Content that is displayed in your member portal will automatically vary based on your user / membership type.
