Bronze Office Design Under $80/sq. ft.

The objective for our clients was to find a location that would accommodate two unique but interconnected business organizations into one location. While acting as two distinct businesses, the clients work closely with each other and needed a space to accommodate their present and future requirements. Working with a workplace strategy consultant, we created three planning options within three different buildings, and made recommendations to the clients based on how each space worked for them. The final selection located the new head office on two floors within a revitalized office tower/ business district.

Understanding and interpreting the programming, efficiency and the appropriate use of space was crucial in creating a successful plan. Because the clients wanted to create more collaboration between the two companies, meeting rooms were centralized down a middle ‘spine’ and made available to both. The classic materials and finishes speak to the established nature of a financial institution, while the application of these materials speaks to the innovation of the Financial Technology industry.

Rather than standard wood paneling along straight walls, slats of wood are designed along curved walls to create movement and interest. Large graphics add impact and an ‘art gallery’ impression to collaboration areas, while layers of glass and metal-work highlight unique material application opportunities. The seemingly clean and simple design is full of unique details, creating a calm, cohesive, yet inventive space.
