Office Design Under $80/sq.ft

Rosen Canada Head Office

_______

Starting with three separate locations on the same street, the objective for this Client’s project was to consolidate business operations under one roof. As a globally recognized company for cutting- edge technology and solutions, the client looked to our design team to create a new Head Office with connection and growth in mind. The result– a brand new 4- storey building attached to a renovated warehouse space.

Large windows placed between the atrium and the manufacturing floor were located to foster innovation and allow both staff and clients to have expansive views of the office and operational environments.

With the Global Head Office located overseas, the client expressed the importance of regional characteristics within the design of the National Headquarters. The use of contrasting textures such as raw metal, rustic wood, and soft fabrics define the space within its regional context, while creating a warm and inviting space for its users. Distinct and local elements are situated throughout, including large wood slabs used for live- edge bar tables, stone surrounds for the fireplace, and furnishings.

Foothills, Prairie, and Lake regions were interpreted within the design through the use of different carpet, paint, and fabric colours. Using a different but complementary palette on each floor helped to define each space while allowing for better wayfinding between the large floor plates. The overall outcome is a cohesive and inspiring environment, with both expansive and private spaces, allowing for the opportunity to promote new ideas and to enhance company culture.
