The holiday season is upon us with a new year on the horizon. The world as we knew it changed in the past year however our continued efforts in reclamation remain the same. To all CLRA members, I applaud you for all you do and am proud to be a part of this amazing association.

The 2020 National AGM & Conference plans are underway. We are partnering with the Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) and the Society of Ecological Restoration (SER) in beautiful Quebec City on June 7-11, 2020.

The National CLRA conference was a success in Kimberley, BC this past September. A huge thank you to the BC TRCR organizing committee for having the CLRA join forces to put on an extremely informative conference.
We held our AGM on September 18 and gave our awards out at our joint Awards Banquet.
In 2018, we welcomed two new chapters to the Canadian Land Reclamation Association. A huge thank you to Ian Young, President of the Manitoba Chapter, and Eddy Spigott, President of the Saskatchewan Chapter, for stepping up to extend the CLRA into Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
This year our National AGM & Conference will be held in beautiful Miramichi, New Brunswick on Oct 16 – 18, 2018.
