Getting Started to Write the NCIDQ Exam

• Visit myncidq.org and create a free MyNCIDQ Account.
   

• Candidates who meet the EDUCATION requirement or are in the final year of their bachelor’s or master’s interior design degree program, and have not acquired the necessary work experience, may opt to first apply to take the IDFX exam. 
   

• Important reminder: Work Experience requirements are changing February 01st, 2024. Effective to all applications submitted on or after February 01st, 2024.
   

  • If you prefer to apply under the current work experience requirements, you must do so this fall.
     

• Apply by July 31, 2023 to allow CIDQ enough time for review and potential approval for the fall/October 2023 NCIDQ Exam.
