Alliance For Girls: Girl Leader Application
Thank you for your interest in joining Alliance for Girls'** (AFG) Young Women's Leadership Board (YWLB). The YWLB plays an important role in driving and defining the work of AFG by functioning as a junior board for the organization, including giving input on AFG's programming, research, and advocacy. Participants receive training on what it means to be a board member and how to do youth-led action research. Currently, the board is leading a project on COVID-19's impact on girls and gender expansive youth up to age 24 in California.

YWLB is a paid opportunity and participants will be paid 15hr.

The program runs from October 2020-June 2021.

To apply, applicants must be ages 16-20.

Please complete the application below. If you qualify, we will notify you about the next steps.
The deadline to apply is August 21, 11:59 pm.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Nakia at nakia@alliance4girls.org or call 510.629.9464.

**“Girls” refers to gender-expansive youth (cis girls, trans girls, non-binary youth, gender non-conforming youth, gender queer youth and any girl-identified youth).
